Problems with printing

Janie,

Without knowing what you are using to print, that is, the program you are using to get the photo / image onto the little 4X6 inch paper, it is hard to say what is happening differently from what was happening previously.

I can offer the following to help you check:

Print - Programs_and_Methods

For example, if you are printing from your computer:

You might try using a simple program like Windows Photo Viewer to set up the print and see if you can see what is happening -- this method may either tell you what is "different", or it may work correctly and allow you to print the photo.

NOTE:  When using Windows Photo Viewer, watch out for the setting "Fit picture to frame" as this does change the aspect of the photo in the view and will change your output.

If you want to see what is going to print on your selected paper at the photo's actual size, you might try taking look at the section Printing with Paint.

If you are printing from the web or if the photo / image is imbedded in a document, then you can use Print Preview to assure that what you see is what you get:

Manage Print Output with Print Preview
