I have the same printer, same problems, no helps in this forum. BTW, WTH is the scan doctor? I click the link but it only brings me right back to this thread.
Good grief. Piece of JUNK! Right when I need it to work, 100% gauranteed, it fails...! So fricking frustrating. It goes in the trash today. I'll buy another brand!

Not sure what your particular issue is/was. I have a hard time finding specifics with this board, but... if it is the same vexing issue I had, I found and posted a solution in March 2017. That is, whenever we had a router outage, the printer took on a new IP address... thus the computer couldn't find it until I entered teh new IP address. So... I NAMED the computer instead, then it could locate it regardless of teh IP address. My exact message was: "Thanks for the detailed response. Actually, I should have posted this info before now. The fix was pretty simple. Since the printer IP Address was changing every time we lost power or the printer was powered down, I found that I could just name the printer instead of designating it by IP address, which made "finding it" independent of the IP address. Problems solved." If this is the same problem you are having, maybe it will avoid your having to shop for a new printer.
