Hello Stonegopher. The only way I found until now is:

1) find your temporary windows folder ( right click on my computer --> proprieties --> advanced system configurations --> tab advanced, there is a button (last), mine is in portuguese 😕

2) go to that folder and right click, then security tab and give permitions to all allowing everything.

Allow this it is not recomended for security reasons, but it is the only way I found to make it work for good with MS Office.

Maybe it is possible to find one user, like admin or system which you change some proprieties not all, if you find let me know.

Good luck,

JC

Ya did that early on.  I have a M.2 SSD drive  so all my Temp files are on my storage drive.   I ended up having to make a new User profile and that fixed it.  For now I will see how long it lasts this time.
