I tried all the things you listed and that the initial requestor listed. This printer is a refurbished one that was sent to me from you to replace a new 6830 that had a malfunction. The refurbished one worked just fine until recently. I have tried to delete it and reinstall and use all the other apps mentioned to no avail. When I try to shut down the printer is simply shows "shutting down" untill it eventually times out. The FAX troubleshoot shows it conntcts to the phone line fine, but will not scan anything to FAX. Various scan apps just do not start anything on the machine either. Help!

- When was the last time the printer was working fine?
- What is the operating system you are using?
- How is the printer connected to the PC? (Wireless/USB)
- Have you made any software or hardware changes on the computer?
- Have you performed any troubleshooting steps before posting?
