There may be a simpler fix than replacing the cartridges.  I was having a similar problem of ink smearing on card stock.  The solution that worked for me was changing the "Paper Type" to "Card Glossy 176-220g" in the Printer Settings.  Meaning, after you select "Print"... go ino the "Printer Properties" or "Printer Options" and find the "Paper Type" drop down menu... and change the paper type to "Card Glossy 176-220g."
