Repair of HP Photosmart C7280

Printer will not print.  Lots of noise, Messages like clear jams (there are no jams) 

 

Model:  Photosmart C7280 (Out of Warranty) Purchased in 2008

 

OP Sys:  Windows 7

 

Error Message:  Oxco5d0082  Pump Motor Stalled

 

System changed from Windows Vista to Windows 7

 

Trying to find a way to get the printer repaired.  No success when calling HP Put on hold with music

Hi,

 

Please follow the steps mentioned below to t\s the issue before replacing.

 

Perform reset removing cartridges.

    Steps to perform reset:

  • Unplug the power cord from the HP All-in-One.
  • Wait for 20 seconds.
  • Press and hold # and 6 while plugging in the power cord to the HP All-in-One.
  • Release the buttons after the HP All-in-One starts up.
  • The HP All-in-One will now be reset to factory defaults.

Note:

Resets will clear all user settings

I'm having the same issues, but mine are not fixed with your steps. Any other troubleshooting I can do? Can this be repaired by me if necessary?

Hi RFel,

 

Remove all cartridges, disconnect from any power supply and connect to a different wall outlet, then try the above steps again.
