Right border always cut off when label printing (OfficeJet L7590)

I have some Avery labels (L7163 size). The printer always cuts off the labels on the right hand side by a couple of millimetres. I have tried using borderless printing, minimising margins and setting different paper types in the printer settings. None of these fixed it.

Re: Right border always cut off when label printing (OfficeJet L7590)

I split my labels into two files.

  1. Remove the last column from your labels, and save it as "labels_forward.odt".
  2. Remove all but the first column, and save it as "labels_reverse.odt".
  3. Print "labels_forward.odt" onto your label stock.
  4. Remove the printed label sheets, and refeed them bottom first, so the unprinted column is at the left margin.
  5. Print "labels_reverse.odt".

I think the borderless printing relies on less than an 8.5 inch width, and the carriage movement is limited in its travel, so there will always be a right border on wide stock.  This 2 step method works around that limitation.
