Envy 5540
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I had a photosmart 7520 that died. I replaced with an Envy 5540. With the 7520 I could scan and send multiple scans in the same email. Can I do the same with the 5540? So far I have had to scan each item and send in seprarate emails.

Maybe the 4450 cannot do this.

thanks for any help

Hi,

A such can only be done from the software, as the Envy 5540 do not include an Automatic Document Feeder as the 7520 had.

From your PC open the HP Envy 5540 software and select Scan a Document or Photo.

If you have a mail client such as Outlook instaled and configured on your PC select Email as PDF, else select Save as PDF.

Ensure the scan resolution is 300DPI or lower and the Scan Preview option is checked, then press Scan.

Use the plus button below the preview to scan the next pages.

Once you're done press Send or Save to complete the scan.

Regards,

Shlomi
