Dear Scan to Email User, Your request to reset your PIN for the HP Scan to email service was successful. The new PIN for your username ........................is ........... You will need this new PIN to access your Scan to Email service from the printer. Regards, HP Team
I did not request access to Scan to Email, nor did I request to reset the PIN.
Can you tell me what would have caused this and if there is something I need to do? If someone was trying to send me a scan to email would this occur? When I want to email a scan, I scan to pdf and attach it to the email.

Do not reveal your serial numbers, passwords, email addresses etc to anyone unless you have contacted for HP support.
