Scan to email requires PIN

HP 8710 all-in-one
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Where do I find the PIN to allow us to scan to email? Or where do I go to set or re-set the PIN?

Hi,

How do you  setup your printer now ? With normall setup, it won't ask for PIN. In this case, please look at its screen.

Regards.

I did nothing to set up this feature; we're trying to use it for the first time.

Hi,

You have to use the CD which comes with the printer to set it up first.

Hmmm. We've been using the printer for a few months, so it's already been set up.

I just reinstalled the software, and see nowhere to specifically set up scan-to-email. That app IS listed among the apps associated with the printer.
