Scanning issue

HP Recommended
HP OfficeJet 6950
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Hello,

I just hooked up my system.  I cannot scan through Automatic Feed.  I can copy through it, but no scan.

Printer tells me it scanned, but I get a blank page.  Pages will not feet in scan mode.

Any suggestions?

@mattses

This is a great location to get assistance! I read your post and see that your HP Officejet 6950 printer does not pick up paper from adf. I would like to help you resolve this issue.

Clean the ADF rollers and the separator pad.

Reset the printer.

  • Turn the printer on, if it is not already on.
  • Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
  • With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  • Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  • Wait at least 60 seconds.
  • Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
  • Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
  • Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
  • The printer might go through a warm-up period. The printer lights might flash, and the carriage might move.
  • Wait until the warm-up period finishes and your printer is idle and silent before you proceed.

Click here and follow troubleshooting steps mentioned in the document to fix this issue.

Let me know if that works.

Cheers.
