In order to scan multiple pages into a single file, make sure to launch the scan from the PC and not from the Device:

1. From the Desktop, click the HP Envy 120 Icon.
2. Under Scanner Action, click the Scan a Document or Photo link.
3. Select Document to File (The PDF icon).
4. Check the option to show scan preview. and Click Scan.
5. Use the Plus button (+)  to scan additional pages.
6. You will need to load the next page of the document onto the scanner glass to add each additional page.
NOTE:  Scanning additional pages is supported at 300 dpi or lower.
6. Click the Save button to finalize the scan job.

What is the best way to screen 3 pages into an email?  I'm using an HP Office Jet J4550 All in One printer.

Please refer the section 'How to attach a scan to an email' in the document link below:

Note: You have to first expand the selection 'How to scan with HP Software' by clicking on the + sign to the left.

Let me know how it goes.

I have followed every step - there is no + sign once you scan or even before you scan so you can scan multiple pages into one document; 3 of us have tried this and no luck

I have DPI in settings at 300

HELP!

Sorry to hear you are having problems with the scan.

The Plus (+) button will appear on the Scan Preview window after clicking on the Scan button.

After following the steps 1 to 4 in the previous post, the scan preview window will show the scanned image. In that same window, you have the Plus (+) button at the bottom left hand side.

Clicking on this button will allow you to scan additional pages.

I want to be sure that you did not miss the small button. Please let me know if this button is not present in the scan preview window.

Sorry but I don't get this 'preview' screen - I can see the scan and it will scan the document but there are no icons at the bottom. I can only get the detiails screen -where is the option for preview.

In mac

I click on the HP Envy 120 Icon

Then I click on Open Scanner

Then it shows overview scan and to the right ie Kind b/w, Resolution, Scan to: Name, Format, etc

there are no otehr icons where you see the document to do a +

Thank you

I am sorry; I was under the assumption that you are using a Windows Computer. The procedure to scan in MAC will be slightly different. I am not a MAC expert so I will guide you to the online documents for help.

Please select the document for the OS version on your MAC. Then expand the selection ‘Scan with HP Software’. Next, expand the selection ‘How to scan a multiple page original to a single file’ and follow the steps.

To understand the issue better, can you provide me the following details:

1) What is the model number of your printer?

2) Which version of Windows operating system do you have on PC?

3) Have you installed the full feature software for your printer on PC?
