Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi all,

I am trying to set up Scan to the network folder for my HP Color LaserJet MFP M480 but when I add a quick set it asks for the windows domain name which is not available on my system. I tried using WORKGROUP as a domain name but it always fail the test.

Please guide me through the process.

Thanks

Are you trying to scan to a workstation directly as opposed to a network? A better description of what you are trying to do would be helpful. If you are scanning to a workstation, typically the domain name will be the name of the workstation.

When entering credentials the user name will be "workstation name\username" and the password will be whatever password you use to log into windows on that computer.
