Hi,

First make sure if this is a software or hardware issue.

If the same happen then printing internal pages from the printer panel you have a hardware issue

- Check the cutter

- Make sure the encoder strip is clean

- Make sure the cutter is not broken

- Make sure the belt is not worn

If the printer cuts after printing from the panel, it is a software issue and you can try the following

- Make sure the cutter is enable from the driver

- If the issue persistm, try the following driver

Hi,

first of all, thank you for the reply.

My setup is new desktop computer with Windows 10 Pro x64.

My model is DesignJet T520 36in bought 5days ago.

My problem is that in my office we have some others brands plotters.

We use autocad to print. We choice A1 paper and the design is cover half paper. All our plotters were cutting the paper after the design. So, they cut the paper were the printer stop printing. In HP T520 model, if you print this design, it will cut the paper in A1 size. Half paper will be empty!!!

We tried your solution, but:

i) We have to go and press cut from the machine. In 2016 is out of the box. If you have to print 2-3 designs, you have to wait for each one to finished, go there press cut, return to office, press print next design and repeat...

ii) Some times, the printer stops after the design and by pressing cut, it cuts there, but some times, it cuts after rolling some papers(A1 paper , half design and rolls the other half).

In our office, we are totally dissatisfied with HP support. With this problem now, we are making jokes "Think before you print", "HP support rainforest, not customers", ...

We spent around 2300$ in a trash. We are still laughing with the support from the chat !!!

Something so simple, in not default or AVAILABLE.

Cut after print = AutoCutting

I'm sorry for my late response.

Give it a try with the following driver
