officejet pro 8600

Hi,

I have issues with my office jet pro 8600.

The paper jam warning is on even though there is no obvious paper is stuck.

How can I fix it or where can I fix it?

Thanks

Hi @ZainalT,

Thanks for stopping by the HP community. A very good day to you. 🙂 I reviewed the post regarding paper jam errors on the printer. I will be delighted to assist you here. 🙂

Superb description and stupendous diagnosis of the issue before posting. Kudos to you for that. 🙂 You are a valued HP customer and it is paramount to assist you with it. I take it as a privilege to share this platform with you. 🙂

First off, to assist you better, I would require more information regarding this.

  • Did you bypass power strips and connect the printer directly to the wall outlet?
  • Did you perform a hard reset on the printer?

For a start please perform these steps:

  • Solution one: Reset the printer
  • Solution two: Clear any jammed paper from the rear of the printer
  • Solution three: Clear any jammed paper from the paper trays
  • Solution four: Check the carriage path with a flashlight
  • Solution five: Clean the rollers
  • Solution six: Reset the printer
  • Solution seven: Service the printer

Please use this article for paper jam issues by clicking here This should do the trick for you if there is no hardware issue with the printer. Please perform all the prescribed steps diligently and patiently to correct the issue.

Hope this helps. Let me know how this goes. I genuinely hope the issue gets resolved without hassles and the unit works great.
