They don't remember the password

I brought  a hp printer off someone and they don't remember the password to it what do I do..

I understand you are having trouble connecting your printer to the network. Don't worry as I have a few steps to help you get through this concern,

 

To provide you with an accurate solution, I'll need a few more details:

Have you made any changes on the printer before the issue started?

What is the Operating system installed on the PC? Windows or Mac OS

 

If you are using Windows operating system, you can check http://hp.care/2dUUKxV to check your wireless password.

If you are running a MAC OS X, please go to http://hp.care/2dxPhKL to find your network password.
