hI thecyberpatch

Try plugging the printer into the airport express to see if you get a valid ip address through the ethernet cable.

Print off a configuration page to see if you get a valid ip address.

Let me know.

Trouble connecting LaserJet M1217nfw to wireless system

I got the solution!!!

I plug the printer to the "wireless" network thru the airpor...

I installed the HP suite software for the 10.7.x ( I've got the 10.8... don't ask me why... it works) just to get the EWS browser screen...

then I simply setup the printer to work with my wireless network

I can use both the printer and the scanner wireless!!!!

thanx to all!!!

I love you!

Hi thecyberpatch

I am glad you were able to get the printer setup.

I was going to suggest trying the wireless next if you still didn't get a valid ip address by plugging the ethernet into the airport.

Glad you went ahead and got that all setup and is working successfully over the wireless network.
