HP D110
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Installed the software for the D110 and ran a systems check.  Windows 10 64bit which has USB 3.0 generates issues with this printer.  Seeking guidance on a solution.

Hi,

Did you complete the installation or got an error while trying to install the softare?

If you get an installation error on USB hardware of your PC follow these steps and try again:

Click the Start button and type %temp% into the search bar, then open the shown Temp folder.

Open the latest HP installation folder which begins with 7z (e.g. 7zs1234)
Open the Setup folder.
Locate the usbready.exe file and rename it into usbready.old.exe
Browse back to the main extraction folder (the folders who starts with 7z) and launch the Setup.exe file.

Now follow the installation and check for any difference.

Regards,
Shlomi

Followed the advice but still cannot scan.   How can I find error logs?

HP Recommended

Hi,

What exact error message or behavior do you see while trying to scan?

Try HP Scan Extended, may you able to scan using this application instead?

It will be installed under Start > All Apps > HP > HP Scan Extended:

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/scanners/HPScanExt/HPScanExt.msi

If it fails too try following HP Print and Scan Doctor by selecting Fix Scanning, be sure to follow any steps on screen:

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/printers/hppsdr/HPPSdr.exe

If it fails to resolve te problem may it return any specific error?
