I got thru part of installation with CD that came with printer. When it was time to “Maintain Computer”, the routine ran for over ½ hour while looking for updates, without stopping. Finally, I Cancelled and am now trying to find out what I need to do to complete installation on my MacBook.
I went to the link you directed me to and followed the steps. When I got to the "Set-up" step (with new printer connected to laptop and printer power on) I entered my model number "D4160" and "DJ 4100" series appeared in the Set-up window. When I highlighted it and then hit Continue, I got the following message: "If your device is not listed , it is not supported with this installer. Please visit hp support to download installer, if one is available. If you do not have internet access please contact hp support to order a CD, if one is available."
Would you be able to direct me to a different installer, or would you be able to send me a CD?
