HP Deskjet 3635 all in one
Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite

Hi

I just bought my printer a month a go which is a HP Deskjet 3635 all in one printer, and I tried printing a color document, which the output came out black and white although my document is in color.

For your information, both my ink color catridges are full and are original. Also, I have the right paper size and my driver is of the latest version. I am also printing from a Mac

Please kindly assist urgently.

Thanks in advance

Hey there! @sharoncheo, Welcome to HP forums.

I understand you have issues printing in color from your printer.

Don't worry I'd like to help you out.

Did you make any changes to your printer?

Did you download and install the latest drivers?

Try updating the printer drivers using this link.

Also, try the steps recommended below.

Click the Finder () icon in the dock. The Finder window opens.
Click the drive your HP software is installed on (for example, the Macintosh HD drive).
Click the Applications file, and then move your cursor to the next window.
Click the HP or Hewlett-Packard folder, and then move your cursor to the next window.
Double-click the HP Utility icon. The HP Utility window opens.
Click Clean Printheads, and then click Clean. The printer starts the cleaning process.
After running the tool a test page will print. If the print quality is still unacceptable, follow the on-screen instructions to run Cleaning Level 2.
   NOTE:
To avoid issues that require cleaning, always turn the printer off with the Power button.

Refer this article to further troubleshoot Color or Black Ink Not Printing.

Let me know if this helps!

Have a wonderful day ahead! 🙂
