Vertical lines on scan or copy from a HP Officejet Pro 8610

HP Recommended
HP Officejet Pro 8610
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My printer has started printed vertical lines on the left hand side of a copied or scanned document.  If I print directly from the computer, no problems.  I have already cleaned, aligned printheads, changed the ink cartridge and already turned off and unplugged the printer for more than 5 minutes.  Nothing has worked.  What can I do?  Thanks

@Lake1

Welcome to the HP Forums. I would be happy to help you with your HP Officejet Pro 8610 printer. I understand that you are getting vertical lines when you copy and you have already done some preliminary troubleshooting.

Don't worry though as I have a few steps to determine the issue and find a solution as well,

  • Clean the scanner.
  • Clean the ADF rollers.
  • Change the copy settings.
  • Change the paper settings.
  • Reset the printer.

Click here and follow the steps mentioned in the document to perform above steps.

Let me know how it goes,

Cheers.
