Thanks so much for your reply.  I haven't had time yet to do all the steps you suggest but will as soon as I can.

The product # on the back of the printer:

left side   MY 9359 0XT

middle   CD018A

right side  [42]

they are all located on the UPC bar code

@edwardcharles, could you try to make sure the # is correct for the (CD018A). I could find that product number to match a product.

What type of printer do you have?

I have a Phhotosmart C6300.

Yes the # is correct.....the 0 is a zero, I believe,as it is an 0 with a slach through it,

as is the 0 in the # on the left.

Let me know if you need anymore info'.

Thanks again for your assistnce with this.

Let me know what happens. This seems to be a print head issue, or bad cartridges.

ACCEPTED AS SOLUTION

Thankyou...thankyou...thankyou!!  I used the information you sent me...thoroughly cleaned the printhead again and this time the alignment was successful.  Thanks for spending the time to figure what was wrong and SOLVED MY PROBLEM!!!!!  I am very greatful!

Ooops....I may have spoken too soon.  When I went to print, the copy is not sharp and clear.

The black print is not solid black but has lines in the print that doesn't print.  While the ink

cartridges were out of the printer, I covered the opening with the orange caps that come with

the new cartridges so they wouldn't dry out.  I'm not sure what to do to try to fix it.

Any suggestions?  Thanks.

Go through through the process of cleaning the actual print head. You can do that through the Solution Center on the computer.

Let me know how that works.

@BE414141,

Welcome to HP Forums, this is a great place to get support, find answers and tips.

Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you.

I understand that you are unable to align the cartridges of your HP Photosmart 7510 e-All-in-One Printer.

This issue could occur if the electrical contacts on the printhead or the printer are not clean or defective or the printhead may be defective.

Let's go through a few steps to troubleshoot this issue.

And here's the step by step guide for you in the link: Alignment failed

Let me know how this works.

You have a good day ahead.
