Warranty Replacement on brand new HP Cyan Cartridge

HP Recommended
Color Laserjet Pro 300
Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan

Hello there,

I purchased a 3 pack of geniune HP toner cartridges from Amazon on June 22nd. They were deliverd a few days later and I installed them in my printer. I use the printer just for printing out Etsy paperwork and the occasional letterhead/business letter so I have printed perhaps 50 pages, mostly text and letterhead with very little color.

Tonight I went to print some simple b/w pages but when the prints come out all of the pages are completely covered in blue. It looks like the other colors are printing normally underneath the blue layer, but the cyan cartridge is leaking or spraying the entire page with cyan ink.

Since these are brand new, original HP cartridges that I payed HP's higher prices for (no off-brand toner for me!), and since HP explicitly warrants cartridges against defects, I would like to open a ticket and find out how to return this cyan cartridge for a replacement.

Please contact me at the email address listed in my profile and let me know what to do. I would be happy to return the cartridge along with my proof of purchase to get the warranty cartridge covered.

Needless to say, I am frustrated with the quality control of HP's "guaranteed" toner cartridges, especially given the fact that HP charges a higher price for the security of getting the cartridges straight from HP. My hope is that I can get a cartridge that works. I paid almost $300 for a set of three cartridges and it's disheartening to have one of them blow up on me.

Please help!

Thank you,

Jason Young

The defective cartridge should be returned to your supplier for replacement as described in the document here.
