I cannot proceed with my printer set up because I cannot find the WIP PIN that is being asked for.

My printer is HP Envy 5660 e-all-in-one prinyee

The WPS PIN should be on a label or sticker attached to your wireless router, probably on the bottom or back.

It states that I should find it on the printer not the router.

I ran into the same problem. At that point I hadn't used the HP software to install the printer. After I downloaded the installation software from 123.hp.com and executed it, the printer was installed and Windows10 showed that it was available.

I am having the same problem.  But, I do have one more problem.  I am in AZ and all my paperwork and CD is in MN where I can't get at it to download it anymore.  All I did was change the ink with new HP ink.  That shouldn't have done anything should it?  Now what do I do?

7/13/16 same problem: My HP printer stopped responding after installing WIndows 10 and I had no idea what a WPS PIN was and where to find it. I also had no access to my install info any more:  solution: you need to only know the model of your HP printer to fix this. Go to your current printer's installed driver/program and UNINSTALL it.  This sounds scary but it is the only way to get it resolved.  Then online go to 123.hp.com   You will need to know the model of your printer you wish to install again.  follow the prompts.  you will download the install program. It takes a few minutes. then answer the questions along the way. answer yes, continue, next to move forward & reinstall the driver/install program.  You will have a choice part way to be wireless or via cable to the printer.  continue on .  I never needed any WPS PIN.  The printer was installed again and it now works.  You will not need anything except the model of printer you are using.   It solved everything.

see my reply on how to fix this in the other blog posts.  For some reason it will not allow me to cut and paste it to send to you on your question.  Essentially, uninstall the HP driver/install program.  Then go to 123.hp.com and reinstall the program and run it to reinstall the entire HP printer again.  This will fix everything.  You do NOT need to know any WPS Pin numbers and not need any of the original install disks or anything.  Only know the model of the printer you want to install. You will be asked part way through the  install if you want it to be wireless or on an attached cable.  Keep answering yes, continue, next until you are done.  They will try to sell you on an ink package at the end... that's optional.  Your printer will work again after you reinstall it and you need to know nothing excep the model number.  Good luck. Scary to uninstall but it works to reinstall it.

Sorry I didn't reply to your post but better late than never. Your solution worked and I have not had any problems since. Great job!

I need to enter the WPS number to connect my computer to my HP envy 5660 printer.  Where do I find this number?

Looks like you are saying the WPS-PIN is on the router and the set up is saying the number is on the printer. Which one? If I can't find WPS-PIN anywhere, is it possible that there is another name for it?
