I recently got a new desktop which runs Windows 8.1. I am still able to print through my network to my HP OPfficejet 7500A E910 all-in-one, but I have lost my scanning function. When I try to install the scanner using teh HP disc, it will not recognize any of the drivers on the disc. How do I regain the use of my scanner?

Welcome to the HP Forums! I understand your concerns with your Officejet 7500A. If you installed the full feature software on your computer, then you should have scanning capabilities.
Please try this utility The Print And Scan Doctor, as this might verify why you are unable to scan.
If the step above doesn't work, then please follow this HP document here. Only perform "Solution Seven" in this document, as this should resolve your issue.
