Product: OfficeJet Pro 8600
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8 (64-bit)

Good day all. Recently transferred from New York to the UK. Have a wonderful Officejet Pro 8600 I want to take with me.

 

I know the volatge will be different in the UK than the US and I will need different plugs or adapators. Outside of those issues, any reason why this printer WON'T work in the UK?

Hi drudge,

 

Thank you for using HP products.

 

You can use OfficeJet Pro 8600 in UK. You just need to use different plug, the adapter (100V ~ 240V) and the supplies come with the printer can be used in UK.

Hi,

As said above the power supply is 100-240v, meaning only a power adaptor will be required.

 

Regarding the ink be aware that the ink zone varies, once any of the ink will deplete you will need a full set of UK based 950/951 cartridges, then you will need to contact HP Support in the UK to perform a pen regionalization to the printer so the local ink will get accepted.
