Hello, I upgraded my computer to win 10 and had a Photosmart 7520 printer. The printer did not have a driver for windows 10 so I replaced with a newer model that works with win 10. The new printer works great but I have a problem. I removed the software for the 7520, the only software for a printer is my newer printer. But when I run windows update it shows 2 drivers for the 7520 dated November 2009 and keeps trying to install them and fails. I have no idea how to remove this from windows update. Does anyone have any suggestions? Please advise.
THIS DOES NOT WORK, so can people please stop proposing it as a fix. Can HP and Windows not get together and sort this out once and for all. Maybe simply remove the update altogether, since it is clearly way out of date.
