Would love to use the apps on the printer but so far no luck. They keep updating and then cancelling. I network in through my router connected to my IMac (with latest version) and my HP Laptop with Vista. My Laptop shows up when I hit the scan to computer icon but my IMac will not show as connected no matter how I connect (wireless or USB). I can print or scan from my IMac to printer but not vice-versa. I bought the 7525 PS as an update and really liked the apps program as I had it on my previous PS309 and loved printing off the papers and games. Now I can't get any of them to print off. Help!

I just recently bought this from Sam's too and I am having the same exact issue. Called support and they said it is a known issue. Hope that means they are working on a firmware fix. Coincidentally, a friend of mine bought the same printer also from Sam's. Hers was manufactured in China, whereas mine was made in Thailand. When I set hers up, it found an update to the firmware. It updated and is working as expected. She can select an app and print it out. Her apps scroll left and right. Not sure if hers was made prior to the August firmware release or if being made in China makes a difference. Please HP... update the firmware sooner rather than later.

Hi, happytohelp01. It has been two weeks now since I posted this problem and thus far no fix. What can you tell us? Is it a firmware problem as reported by others? When do you expect to share a fix with us? rimwalker

I must say that right now I am highly disappointed in HP customer service. I purchased this printer HP7520 new just a little over one week ago from Best Buy.........was having the same issues that everyone else seemed to be having with not being able to access the apps or web services. They offered to send me a replacement printer. Little did I realize that what they would send me would be a refurbished printer - not even the same product number and the unit has scratches on it. Needless to say I am not happy. Still waiting for HP to call me back as they promised. At this point I'm ready to pack it all up and take my new printer back to Best Buy and send the reconditioned one back. If I wanted a reconditioned scratched up printer I guess I could have boughten a used printer off of Craig's list.

Been waiting too. I should have read all the reviews and the issues with this printer before I bought it. It ssems like there are several similarities with the units after reading through the posts. Bought mine at Sam's and it too has the same firmware version, ELM1CN1320AR. I have a 7525.

I have a 7520, bought last week, and it has the same problem - print apps will not download.
I have logged a call with the ePrint support team (in the UK) and they are looking into it. But it sounds like Web Services have been having problems on-and-off for some time.
