Hi,

From my reading, yes BUT please read the following FAQ's:

   http://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c03760650

Note:  "HP Instant Ink is currently available in the United States, United Kingdom, France, and Germany. HP Instant Ink Pro is currently available in the United States. We are planning on expanding—so keep checking back for updates on when HP Instant Ink and HP Instant Ink Pro are available in other countries."

Regards.

Hi,

You have to do factory reset and start over like a new printer. You can see this option AFTER activate the printer.

Sorry if I'm being ignorant here but does that mean I would be able to join hp instant ink without any ink cartridges?

I live in the UK and know that HP instant is available here.
What I would like to know is if I would need to have ink cartridges first in the printer before being able to order HP instant. I ask because I read that a code needs to be printed to receive it.

Hi,

You need a claim code to be able to create HP Connected device for your printer. From there you have to Enroll to Instant Ink. Please talk directly with your HP Office in your country.
