change scan folder HP OfficeJet Pro 8625

HP Recommended
HP OfficeJet Pro 8625
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

How do I change the destination folder for the items I scan on my HP OfficeJet Pro 8625?  To a different folder like "My Scans?

I have just spent an hour playing with all the printer settings...

@dwp77

You perhaps missed the "Preview scan" setting -- enable Preview to allow the destination file / folder to be changed.

See:

Save Scan to Specified Location

You can use other programs to scan / save / print your jobs:

Scanning Program Options

Well I feel like a bonehead.  I did not power down and re-power the printers since loading Windows 10.  Once I did that I could get to the scanners setion to change the destination.  Your link helped.  Thanks

You are welcome.

No "bonehead" !

In particular, migrating, installing the Operating System, or even updating or changing the way in which applications are used is not always as straight forward as we might hope.
