detecting low Toner

Am using a color laserjet 2025 with W7 SP1. How do I detect low toner and how many copies of that color are remaing?

Hi,

As a full feature software is not available for Windows 7 you may check the cartridge ststus from the device itself b printing a Supplies Status Report, the report include both the cartridge level and the estimated remaining pages for the supply.

 

Follow these steps to check the estimated life remaining in the print cartridges and if applicable, the status of other replaceable maintenance parts.
 
Step one: Print the supplies status page
 
Follow these steps to print out the supplies status page from your printer.
  1. On the printer’s control panel, press the right arrow ( ) to select the Setup menu.
  2. From the Reports menu, press OK .
  3. Press the right arrow ( ) to select Supplies Status , and then press OK .
