My envy 7645 will not wake up.  I am forced to shut it down and turn it back on every time I want to print if it has fallen asleep.  I have searched for help on the supprt pages but I can't find anything for Mac OS.

Hi @teenacolada,

Welcome to the HP Support Forums! I see that you are experiencing issues with the printer not waking up. I will certainly do my best to help you. If this helps you to reach a solution, please click the "Accept as Solution" button down below in this message. If you wish, to say thanks for my effort to help, click the "Thumbs Up" to give me a Kudos.

I would suggest to setup a static IP address for the printer to see if that will help,  Printer Does Not Maintain Wireless Connection. Go to Solution two: Assign the printer an automatic static IP address.

If you are still having issues with the printer waking up, try to manually add the printer by the IPv4 address in.
Go to the Apple, System Preferences, Printers and Scanners, click + button, then select the IP icon at the top, type in the printer's IPv4 address, select jet direct below and then Apply. See if you have the same results. You would have to select the Bonjour print driver though when scanning.

Please let me know the results. Thank you.
