Re: how network name (SSID) found

Hello susanjohan,

Welcome to the HP Support forums.  I understand that you would like to learn how to find out what your SSID name and password are.

If you were provided with your wireless router/modem by your internet service provider please contact them to find out what the SSID name and password are.  Although many customers have that information on the router/modem itself.

If you have purchased the wireless router/modem yourself, then the SSID name and password would have been created by the person who setup the wireless network with your router.
