Hard Reset – While printer is powered ON, pull

the power cord from the printer then from the

wall. After 30 seconds reconnect power to wall

and printer. This will trigger a ‘dirty power up’

and restore the printer to a known good

condition (if it is possible). No user settings are

lost with a ‘hard reset’.

This ‘Hard Reset’ is one of the most powerful

tools to use when the printer hardware is not

functioning properly!

IF NOT RESOLVED, uninstall hp software &

reinstall using latest hp software from hp

website.

Please read this post then provide some details.  What printer model - there are a number of Officejet 6500 models? What operating system? What browser are you printing from?  Have you tried HP Smart Printing?  It would allow you to select only those portions you want to print.

As the issue is showing allready inthe printpreview its not a printer issue. You stated that it is only when printing from the internet? Is that correct?

Model 6500A plus E710 (my new printer) model 6500a E709(my old printer) on XP service pack 3 with Internet explorer. Have not tried HP smart print.

As I stated I can print from my own files or pictures. If I copy from the internet and paste to word or office it will print what is copied. It only prints in 0&1 's when you print directly from the internet.

Yes, only from the internet. Is there a setting to control this issue?
