DO I need to uninstall the software from an older printer before installing this new one like in add and remove programs?

Hi,

Thanks for using the forum.

We'drecommend that you remove any printer software that you will not be using prior to installing the new printer software.

This is a good practice and cleans up the old files from your PC.

Thanks for asking!

I am an HP Employee. Although I am speaking for myself and not for HP.
