My printer works well. But, Microsoft's onenote software intercepts documents sent to the printer unless I manually reset the printer before each document is printed. To fix the problem, I have been given instructions to go to Control Panel and within the Control Panel to go to the Devices and Printer panel and set my Officejet 4500 as the default printer. EXCEPT--when I go to the panel my Officeject 4500 is not listed as an available printer. What is shown is a Photosmart all in one printer icon which I do not have on my system and have never had one installed. As a result, I cannot turn off the Onenote software. Suggestions
