hp photosmart c6280 all -in-one

Machine prints excellant quality from computer.

When I try to copie all I get is a solid black page.

Any help on this problem?

Sorry that you are having a problem with the copy portion of the printer. 

 

Try to perform a hard reset on the printer. Unplug the power cord from the back. Leave it out for 30 seconds and plug it back in. 

 

Make sure it is plugged into a wall outlet. 

 

Also clean the glass with lint free cloth and water.

Looks like the scanner bulb has gone bad. Check if you see the light when performing the copy.

Scanner bulb appears to be on.

Blue colored light moves across the window.

Still black copies
