hpqdirec.exe pop up

After solving a parsing error I had, I am now getting a pop up whenever I click on my Solution Center icon.

The pop up asks:

Do you want to allow the following program to makes changes to this computer.

hpqdirec.exe

I don't mind having to click on it all the time, however I am afraid that it will stop and I won't be able to get into my solution center.

I am running Windows 7 and have the HP Photosmart D110a printer.

Any suggestions?

Re: hpqdirec.exe pop up

Hi,

Try chaning the privileges level for that exe file.

Uncheck 'Run this program as Administrator' and 'Run this program in compatibility mode'.

That might solve the frequent pop-up. Good luck!

Hit Kudos if I helped.
