i need a printer that can scan multiple pages into 1 document.

I just bought the HP DeskJet 3050A and needed to scan multiple pages into 1 document.  The 3050A opened my documents folder w/every page and 1 page = 1 document.  I had to rename every page since I was only getting Scan0001, Scan0002 etc.

Re: i need a printer that can scan multiple pages into 1 document.

Hey gldnmis!

We have many printers that will scan multiple pages into a single document. For instance the Officejet 6500A series and 8500A series. Most of the all-in-ones with an automatic document feeder allow for this functionality.

Hope this helps!

Re: i need a printer that can scan multiple pages into 1 document.

Use the HP Scan program instead of the scan button on the printer/scanner.

Click document to PDF or picutre of a document symbol with "PDF" on the corner of the image

the dpi has to be 300, i tried 600 and the "add page" was gone

make sure the "create seperate page per scan/file" is not clicked

that should do it

at least on my 3050a scanner/printer
