iPhone & iPad can't Airprint to p1102w LaserJet

I just downloaded the update for the firmare and installed it.  Unfortunately my iPAD2 could not find an "airprint printer".   My printer is the HP Laserjet P1102w.  I would be grateful for any help.

In general you need to make sure that the printer and your iOS device are on the same network. If you are sure that is the case then cycle power to your router, your printer, and your iOS device. If that still doesn't clear the problem then it is possible that your router does not support Bonjour - the technology Apple uses to find printers.

You can usually do a google search for your router make and model along with Bonjour to find if your router model is causing trouble for others.

Thanks very much.  I have it working now.  My McAffee (anti-virus) program did not want to allow connection between my router and my "new" (i.e. new firmware) printer.  So I told it to "trust it".  Secondly, I followed the instructions on my Verizon router to recognize the printer (it had been recognized, for a PC netbook, prior to the download of the new firmware).  One of the two, or perhaps both, allowed the iPAD to print to the HPLaserjet P1102w.

Just make sure bonjour is enabled

I have downloaded and istalled the latest firmware update to my hp p1102w just as you said but AirPrint is still not finding my printer

thanks Mick, I have been struggling with this for the past 5 days and had almost given up hope with all the vague answers and negative feedback on the p1102w. and Im here to tell evryone out there that the P1102W DOES AIRPRINT from the iphone ! just get the firmware updated from the link Mick has posted and ur good to go. Im using the iphone 4 with the ver 4.0. OS and I didnt even have to upgrade that, the firmware upgrade was enough.
