Solved!

install of HP officejet 4500 G510n wireless failed

HP Recommended
HP officejet 4500 G510n wirele
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I receive at the first phase of the installation procedure the attached window:

Regarding other devices I face no USB problems.

I checked all the USB drivers at the devices list.

I wonder why I got this message because I'm not installing via a USB line but wireless. I have verified that the printer has been connected with my DELL lattitude e5570. Printing through the windows driver is no problem.

What have I to do solving this problem.

Hi,

From Windows Explorer type %temp% and press Enter.

Locate and open the HP installation folder, which begins with 7z (e.g. 7z1234s) or appears as hp.

Open teh Setup folder.

Locate the usbready.exe file and rename it to usbready1.exe.

Now browse one level up and press on Setup.exe to begin the setup, then follow for any difference.

Please let me know of any problem,

Shlomi
