laserjet 1320

laserjet 1320
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

The upd printer driver 6.1.0.20062 does not seem to work for custom sizes on laserjet 1320. Printing is center justified on this printer. I'm trying to print on check size 6" x 3".

I've created a form in printer preferences:

width - 3"

length - 6"

and setup for landscape printing.

I've tried MS Paint and XPS Viewer on Windows 7  to load a bitmap 6 x 3 and printed from those apps.

The printed output is at the bottom/left edge of the 8.5 x 11" page with only half of the image showing.

It should be center/top justified; at least is was on the XP driver.

Anyone have a solution?

Tried this version but it did not work correctly either. Oddly, it rotated the image 270 degrees counter clockwise and the image was on the top right corner of the 8.5 x 11in sheet. Since my primary interest was printing from an application I wrote, and I have been able to get around the problem by offsetting the image through my programs print procedure; I will close this issue.

Thanks for your help.
