my printer won't print, paper comes out blank

My printer is a HP Officejet 4315v All-In-One from my son.  My OS is Windows 7 on my desktop, I receive no error messages.  I've downloaded & installed several times...receive blank paper

I'm sure it's something simple that just needs worked out.  Try following the steps in this document to clear it up.  Let me know what happens.

Smiley Embarassed I couldn't find a way to see how much ink is left, my 8 yr. old granddaughter did, the printer came from her house............"Your out of ink"........PERIOD.  And it does print wlll, but can't get it to print envelopes, not sure how to set it up.......and don't tell me to ask my GD, THANKS

Smiley Happy It's no problem.  To print on envelopes just follow the steps in this document.  It covers everything you need to know.  Happy printing. Smiley Happy
