Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Has HP changed the way printers are installed?  My 5520 is called HPB55024 on my Printers and Devices page, which I think means it is connected to a HP server for printing. That printer works; but my "old" printer shows as HP 5520 series and does not now work. How do I get this printer to function, if my guess on the other printer printing through a HP server is correct?

Hi @tizzy,

Welcome to HP Forums, this is a great place to get support, find answers and tips.

Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you.

I understand that your old HP Photosmart 5520 e-All-in-One Printer does not print.

This issue could occur if the printer is offline.

Let's go through a few steps to troubleshoot this issue.

And here's the step by step guide for you in the link: Printer is Offline (Windows)

Let me know how this works.

You have a good day ahead.
