Hi,

All of a sudden, the black ink stopped printing, while the others work as good as before. The black ink is almost new - about 75% amount.

Still I replaced it to a new one. Nothing's changed.

Tried everything, all kinds of cartrige cleaning - nothing helped. The documents become white

The coloured documents are all right.

What is this??

HELP!

For better clarity and to assist you better I would require more information regarding this.

  • Did this happen after a windows or software update? Do you know?
  • Have you tried making any copies directly from the printer?

This could be a hardware issue with the printer if the copies do not work even after having replaced the black cartridge. Please make a few copies directly from the printer and check if the copies come out fine. If the printer does not copy in black, then there is a hardware issue with the printer and it needs to be replaced or upgraded by contacting HP phone support:

Step 1. Open link: www.hp.com/contacthp/

Step 2. Enter Product number or select to auto detect

Step 3. Scroll down to "Still need help? Complete the form to select your contact options"

Step 4. Scroll down and click: HP contact options - click on Get phone number, Case number and phone number appear.

They will be happy to assist you immediately. If the unit is under warranty repair services is taken care of by the manufacturer’s warranty

If it copies fine please follow this link for the printer not printing in black or color: http://support.hp.com/us-en/product/HP-Officejet-Pro-6830-e-All-in-One-Printer-series/5390307/model/...

If this does not work, please ensure that you align the new printer cartridge from this link: http://support.hp.com/us-en/product/HP-Officejet-Pro-6830-e-All-in-One-Printer-series/5390307/model/... and check again.

If this does not do the trick for you, the is is still hardware related. Please contact HP phone support.

Hope this helps.  Let me know how this goes. I genuinely hope the issue gets resolved without hassles and the unit works great.  Smiley Happy  Please reach out for any issues and I'll always be there to assist you. Smiley Happy
