OfficeJet 7410
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a nice Officejet 7410, had it a while, lightly used.   Recently it started giving me a "Carriage Jam" error, to which a simple power reset fixed that, there was nothing jammed in the printer at all.  Now everytime i go to print something color, Only the black prints.  I have changed the color cartridge 2x, and what i have to do is go into Tools, and Clean the print heads 2-3x and then it prints beautiful color.  Obviously something is either lining up wrong, or keeping that color cartridge where its drying out and or clogging everytime.

I did notice the sponge on the bottom of the carriage is soaked with ink (probably from all the cleaning cycles) and i can order another one for like $20, but that shouldnt solve this issue.

Any thoughts is appreciated.  I dont want to toss this printer, i like it.

There really are no steps in that article that apply to this issue.  The paper is normal white blank paper, not any special bond or anything..  When i print the test page it prints only in black, until i run a cleaning on it (usually 2x) and then it prints perfectly.
