Hi @dmalc625,

Good Day. Thanks for posting your query in the HP community. I read the post regarding print related issues on your mobile printer. It will be a pleasure to assist you here.

Commendable diagnosis, superb troubleshooting and splendid description of the issue before posting. Hats off you on that score. Smiley Happy

I would require more information regarding this.

  • Did you perform a hard reset on the printer?
  • Did you try to clean the cartridge electrical contacts?

For a start, please perform a hard reset on the printer.

  1. Turn the printer on, if it is not already on.
  2. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
  3. Remove the cartridges from the printer
  4. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  5. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  6. Wait at least 60 seconds.
  7. Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
  8. Then install the cartridges back.

Then please follow all the prescribed steps from this link: https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-officejet-100-mobile-printer-series-l411/4231339/model/42314... and check if it fixes the issue for you.

  • Step one: Make sure that the cartridges are installed correctly
  • Step two: Remove and then reinsert the cartridges
  • Step three: Clean the electrical contacts
  • Step four: Turn the printer off and on again
  • Step five: Replace the cartridges
  • Step six: Align the cartridges
  • Step seven: Service the printer

Please perform all these steps patiently as it is critical to resolving the issue. The trick is to remain patient, please. Please note that I am not overloading you with a lot of troubleshooting steps.Instead, just like you, I am eager to ensure that the problem gets resolved. So I am providing you with more resources and information at your disposal to deal with the situation better.

Please check the user guide from this link: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c02648771 and refer pages 48-57 for more assistance.

If this does not work, then the printer may need to be replaced as it might have a hardware issue.

Please contact HP phone support to get it replaced.
