photos come out discolored but the ink is full, what could be the issue?

I have the HP photosmart premium that prints, scans and copies. It works great when i print on regular paper but when i print photo's on the photo paper the pictures come out discolored like some funkadelic filter on instagram

Hi there,

I could use a little more information to help narrow troubleshooting. Specifically what operating system are you using and what is the model number for the printer? If you have difficulty locating the model number please use one of these guides to get it:

Re: photos come out discolored but the ink is full, what could be the issue?

The model number is c310a and I'm using windows 7. Both the laptop and printer are about a year old. The first time i printed a picture, i printed 2, the first one came out perfect but the second one was discolored which was a couple of months back. Recently i replaced the ink as always with genuine hp ink but i still have the same problem
