photosmart c7280

I have exactly the same problem as the other c7280 owner ink level tells me that the light magenta needs changing level meter shows about 25% message comes up on screen print black only and if not soon changed all printing will stop. I have changed all cartridges, and done all the things sugested. Problem still remains.  Any advice will be most welcome.

Hi j-d-c-,

Welcome to the HP Forums, I hope you enjoy your experience! To help you get the most out of the HP Forums I would like to direct your attention to the HP Forums Guide First Time Here? Learn How to Post and More.

Sorry to hear that you are having issues with the printer not printing for you.  I see that you stated that you have changed ink cartridges and you still have the same issue.

Please be sure that you have the printer power cable connected to a wall outlet and NOT a power bar/strip.  Here is a document that explains the Issues when Connected to an Uninterruptible Power Supply/Power Strip/Surge Protector.

Please NOTE that the printer listed in the document is a LaserJet printer and it is only used as an example. The document it meant for HP products in general.

Another document that I am providing to you will assist you with troubleshooting a 'Ink expiration near' Message Displays on the All-in-One.

If the troubleshooting does not help resolve your issue, I would then suggest calling HP's Technical Support to see about further options for you. If you are calling within North America, the number is 1-800-474-6836 and for all other regions, click here: click here.

Thank you for your time.
