printer always goes to

Deskjet 3055A
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

I have a Desktjet 3055A and recently when I try to print something it always goes to "save" which I don't always need to do. I used to be able to just print. Any ideas why it has changed?

Hi @pokey18,

Welcome to the HP Forums!

I understand that when you try to print something it always goes to "save", with your HP Deskjet 3055A printer on Windows 8.1. I am happy to look into this issue for you!

It's quite possible that a Windows Update, might have changed this. I would recommend to first try our HP Print and Scan Doctor, to see if it can resolve the issue automatically. If not, please try the following steps:

Hope this resolves your issue, and have a good day! :generic:
